The Acton Chamber of Commerce was incorporated in 1954 and worked as the primary civic group until the formation of the Acton Town Council. Its primary function is to promote Acton and its trade areas through educational, economic, legislative, civic, social and cultural programs and affairs.
We serve as a forum for business for networking, solving business problems and providing educational material and promoting business directly and indirectly.
Every year the Acton Chamber of Commerce sponsors the 4th of July Parade. It is quite an undertaking and is very well attended from all over the Antelope Valley; including entries from all over the high desert and up to Tehachapi.
Due to ever-increasing costs, The Chamber hosts fundraising events in addition to its' business-oriented events as a way of defraying the cost of participation to parade entrants.
This year we will host the annual 4th of July Fundraising dance and cookout featuring live music under the stars. It will be held at the same venue as our Farmer's Markets, 3536 Sierra Hwy. just east of the Crown Valley intersection at the 14 freeway. Come join us on Saturday, June 28th at 6:00.
